The acquisition is in pursuit of our goal to build dominant insurance companies in emerging markets around the world.

We require the skills of professionals and individuals who want to build a career in the insurance industry to fill the following roles in Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja

Job Position: Unit Manager (UM)

Division/Department: Agency Network

Reporting to: Agency Sales Manager

Unit: Agency Network

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and carrying out direct marketing activities to drive agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
  • Carry out recruitment of Risk Advisors (RAs)
  • Constantly train the RAs on products, sales techniques, culture and the business processes of the company
  • Conduct market research, and competitor and customer survey and develop ideas as well as create offers for direct clients.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information to facilitate tactical decision making and product development.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquires by post, telephone, and personal visits and ensure that all prospects are fully actualized.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
  • Undertake any duties consistent with the basic objectives of the Business

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum HND/ Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years’ post qualification Experience
  • Hands on experience in an insurance agency or other retail business set-up
  • Experience in a similar role is an added advantage.

Compensation: Very attractive salary and commission.
