Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Locations: Kaduna, Hadeija & Kogi
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Key Duties

  • Services existing accounts,
  • Obtains orders, and establishes new accounts
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive development.
  • Resolve customer complaints by inflating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results report, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products,
  • Delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicant should have a Degree, with a minimum of Second Class, (Upper Division) in Crop Protection or Agronomy with a thesis in Weed science or Agricultural Biology from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience

  • Customer service,
  • Ability to meet sales goals,

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Hausa
  • Interpersonal skills plus self confidence also applicant must have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Suite and possess relevant driving skills

  • Client relationships and motivation for sales,

Job Title: Sales Agent

Locations: Onitsha, Abakaliki, Ibadan, Gboko, Wukari, Keffi, Zaria, Shendam, Benin, Gombe, Kano

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma (OND) in Agricultural extension, Agronomy or related discipline.
  • O’level credit in English language.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a related job or field.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be self motivated, able to work with less supervision, and deliver required results under pressure.
  • Must have a good understanding of GAP (good agricultural practice)
  • Must be comfortable working, living and travelling within rural areas.
  • Must be able to work closely with farmers with a view to imparting GAP into the farming systems in communities under coverage.
  • Must have good report writing skills
  • Must have basic computer skills (MS word)
  • Must be able to speak and communicate well in the local language spoken in area of coverage.
  • Knowledge of local route and road network of coverage area will be an added advantage.
