The Company was established to ensure increased agent activity in the delivery of financial and related value adding services outside the traditional channels, through additional financial access points within Nigeria and across Africa.

To support its objectives of growth and sustained profitability, IFIS is looking for result oriented, passionate, performance driven and innovative leaders to fill the following senior management positions:

Divisional Chief Executive Officer

(ES0097)
Reporting to the Group Managing Director and accountable to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the Mobile Financial Services department with a mandate to build the largest mobile financial services product in Africa. A major focus will be to drive the total achievement of IFIS’s corporate goals by formulating and implementing the Agency Banking Business Strategy in alignment with the Company’s business model, as well as developing and managing the implementation of sales strategies to meet and exceed target projections. He/she will also be responsible for day-to-day management of the Mobile Financial Services subsidiary, in order to drive the adoption of mobile money and mobile banking by subscribers, merchants and agents. Key responsibilities will be to:• Identify opportunities and develop strategies that will ensure that products and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure client    satisfaction.
• Effectively direct, coordinate and monitor all sales, operations and market development activities.
• Oversee branch marketing, business development, administrative, customer service, technical and operations roles.
• Execute operational excellence, cost management and compliance to internal practices and CBN guidelines.
• Champion customer service and implementation of quality delivery standards.
• Drive the development of annual business plans and budgets for the company, putting in place adequate measures to ensure effective    execution.
• Allocate resources as required by the various departments to ensure achievement of targets and goals.

Key Requirements
• A master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or other Social Science or Engineering-related disciplines.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years’ relevant experience, four (4) of which must have been in a Senior Management position of a similar    Organization.
• Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
• Knowledge of Project Management.

Head, Business Development

Reporting to the Divisional CEO, the successful candidate will support business growth across all solutions and the achievement of IFIS revenue targets by articulating and managing the delivery of an effective sales plan. A key component of this role will be to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the sales team and ensure sales and service targets are continuously achieved to deliver business results. The role oversees both Corporate and Consumer segments of the business. Key responsibilities will be to:• Support the Divisional CEO in budget preparation and champion the delivery of the team’s budget.
• Provide insights to the Divisional CEO to support the development of the Sales strategic plan and execution approach.
• Oversee the generation of relevant market intelligence and feed this to the Divisional CEO towards crafting effective strategies to    improve product market share.
• Report all team activities on budget allocation and execution to the Divisional CEO.
• Promptly flag off any risk or compliance issues likely to affect sales opportunities (existing/potential).
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals for IFIS requests and protect the interest of IFIS during formulation of regulatory    policies.
• Review set targets against actual with the Divisional CEO with respect to sales turnover and revenue generated using CRM.
• Prospect for new opportunities and identify new profitable customers for IFIS products/Services.
• Negotiate contract and payment terms with clients, review and prepare tenets of agreements/ MOU/NDA and work with Legal team to    finalize and execute the contracts with clients.
• Carry out research with existing clients to gather market intelligence in relation to the Organization’s products and services.
• Work with other Group Heads to close any risks/compliance issues identified during the risk assessment and audit exercise.
• Coach, challenge team members and work to ensure that they are empowered to deliver on agreed targets.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly reports on sales activities to the Divisional CEO.

Key Requirements
• A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable institution.
• A minimum of six (6) years’ relevant experience in the Sales /Marketing unit of a similar organization.
• Possession of Certified Sales Professional qualification(s) will be an advantage.
• Good Strategic thinking abilities, market research and information gathering.
• Good Knowledge of payment and e-commerce products and services.
• Strong business development skills.

Unit Head, Sales-Corporate

Reporting to the Head, Business Development, the successful candidate will articulate and facilitate the implementation of an effective sales strategy in order to meet defined Corporate revenue targets. An intrinsic part of this will be to coordinate the account management function of team members and manage relationships with identified key accounts to ensure achievement of corporate objectives. Key responsibilities will be to:• Understand the vision and strategy for the Business Development Group.
• Work with the Group Head to ensure execution of sales strategies to improve market share for products.
• Coordinate sales activities (presentation, prospecting) using the Miller Heiman sales methodology.
• Prospect for new opportunities and identify new profitable customers for IFIS products/solutions.
• Drive the process of receivables collection by working with Finance team.
• Monitor trends in client buying behaviour and provides relevant market feedback about competing products and solutions to Group    Head/relevant internal teams.
• Cross-sell and up-sell group’s products and solutions to existing clients/customers.
• Ensure that relevant documents and agreements with clients/sales opportunities are executed and linked to customer profile on CRM.
• Generate demand by pro-actively reaching potential customers to make them aware of the company’s products and solutions.
• Provide market feedback to Group Head that will aid the sufficient visibility of payment products.
• Monitor trends in client buying behaviour and provide relevant market feedback about competing products and solutions to Group    Head/relevant internal teams.
• Provide input about competitor product (features/pricing/strategy) that can aid Interswitch’s offering/sales efforts.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly reports on the sales activities to the Group Head.

Key Requirements

Unit Head, Sales – Consumer

Head, Service Delivery

This role will report to the Divisional CEO and will support business growth by coordinating the delivery of solutions and services to customers within agreed time frames and to quality standards. As the key service delivery officer, he/she will develop and drive implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to support the delivery of exceptional service to customers. Key responsibilities will be to:• Lead and direct the project management and project implementation teams to deliver customer focused services in line with customer    specification.
• Review updates on project activities and ensure implementation is in line with agreed standard and timeline.
• Provide guidance and leadership on project management activities, ensuring timely resolution of crises and disputes, unresolved cases    (support issues), technical problems etc.
• Oversee the activities of the various project teams and ensure effective allocation of responsibilities to achieve full optimisation of    resources.
• Ensure periodic evaluation of service delivery processes and standards, benchmark them against leading practices, make    recommendations as appropriate and drive compliance.
• Perform trend analysis on reported problems, document root causes and initiate appropriate improvement solutions.
• Manage the expectations of the customer (internal and external) with regards to project objectives, deliverables, timeframes, etc.
by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers to strengthen IFIS service delivery experience.

Key Requirements
• A good first degree or its equivalent in Computer / Systems / Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer
Science or other related fields. Possession of additional professional qualification(s) will be an advantage.
• A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of project management, as well as a high customer service orientation.
• Strong understanding of budget management.

Unit Head, Program Management and Delivery

(ES0102)
Reporting to the Head, Service Delivery, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and tracking all IFIS projects from initiation to completion to ensure timeliness are met within stipulated budget. Key responsibilities will be to:• Obtain award letters from customer/sales team and prepares Project Initiation Documents (PID) based on the agreement.
• Develop project plans.
• Communicate with project stakeholders by sending updates/reports to them on the progress of the work.
• Prepare and send weekly status report to Group Head and customers on on-going projects.
• Responsible for project issues management, escalation management and change management.
• Follow up on internal and external dependencies required for project delivery to ensure timely delivery on projects.
• Manage Project Close- out by preparing Project Acceptance Certificate (PAC) to customers to sign off accepting the project had been    completed.

Key Requirements
• A first degree or its equivalent in Computer / Systems / Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science or other    disciplines.
• Possession of professional qualifications e.g. ITIL, Prince2, PMP will be an advantage.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Knowledge of Project management and Forecasting
• Basic knowledge of electronic transactions and e-business/ e-banking

Unit Head, Payment Processing and Technology Operations

(ES0103)
Reporting to the Head, Service Delivery, the successful candidate will contribute to the effective provision of switching services and transmission of accurate transaction data to and from IFIS customers by ensuring that appropriate disbursements and reconciliations are effected. Key responsibilities will be to:• Supervise the generation of daily net settlement position computation break down.
• Approve and ensure the processing of daily network member net settlement positions via the Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System    portal.
• Ensure Settlement report Script/Template Management (Creation, Modification and Enhancement) is effectively run on a timely basis.
• Facilitate reconciliation support for stakeholders (Banks).
• Facilitate the network switched transaction revenue assurance, analysis and reporting for Management.
• Supervise Collateral Management activities (T-Bills).
• Update and upgrade processes and their resulting documentation and communication to customers.

Key Requirements
• A first degree in Sciences and Engineering from a reputable university.
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of all Interswitch products.
• Card Scheme Operation principles and procedures (Visa, Verve, MC, CUP, Discover).
• Proprietary application management (Interswitch settlement Caesar).
• Knowledge of Interswitch Dispute Management Principles and Platforms (Arbiter).
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports Template creation and Modification.

Unit Head, Infrastructure and Technology Services

(ES0104)
Reporting to the Head, Service Delivery, the successful candidate will design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure IFIS’s infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements with 100% uptime. A key function will be to design, code, test, analyse and manage software programs and applications that drive the IFIS’s strategy, product owners and third-party business. Key responsibilities will be to:• Advice and informs management, departments and unit members on technical issues as part of the decision making process for    technical direction and procurement of new systems.
• Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures.
• Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
• Ensure the integrity of IFIS’s electronically held information by performing regular reviews and testing of the back-up systems, disaster    recovery planning and input into the Business Continuity plan where appropriate.
• Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
• Develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.
• Provide inputs to Business continuity and disaster recovery plans with respect to infrastructural implications.
• Analyse research findings and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure    procurement and development efforts.
• Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs,    Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, etc.
• Oversee the database platforms upon which applications are deployed in order to service customers effectively.
• Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
• Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions.
• Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
• Provide reliable, scalable and cost-effective cloud computing resources upon which the rest of the organisation can buy/rent and host    applications.

Key Requirements
• A good first degree or its equivalent in Computer / System / Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science or    other related disciplines. Possession of a master’s degree or an MBA will be an advantage.
• Relevant certification(s) such as ITIL, CCNP, MCP, CCNA, MCTS, OCA, OCP, OSCA, OSCP.

Head, Network Operations

(ES0105)
Reporting to the Divisional CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for steering all IFIS agent Network Operations. Specifically, he/she will ensure that the IFIS operations provides world class service delivery to its agents, merchants, banks and MMO/Telco partners and onward to end-users. Key responsibilities will be to:• Ensure that the IFIS system gets the best hosting; service management; service improvement and infrastructure development attention.
• Deliver high quality stakeholder communications and reporting concerning the performance of the technical operation and the    management of operational relationships with key IFIS Nigeria customers.
• Responsible for the compliance of the local IFIS platform with recognised industry standards including ISO27001, PCI-DSS and SAS70.
• Ensure the system is granted class-leading governance in ICT Security and fraud management as well as high quality risk management.
• Oversee a number of other key supplies including relationships with providers of the following services: end user call centre, local data centre, device testing, outsourced platform owner and SMS aggregation.

• A minimum of six (6) years’ experience managing cross-functional teams in the Business Development and/or Operations of an MMO or    Bank.

Unit Head, Agent Management and Operations

Reporting to the Head, Network Operations, the successful candidate will ensure uninterrupted running of the back-end operations of IFIS. He/she will be responsible for managing agents across regions, monitoring transaction ticket volumes, as well as ensuring effective back-end operations at call centres. Key responsibilities will be to:• Ensure the call centre works well (needed software and hardware, info forwarding to FSS and appropriate units for action) whilst also    projecting the Organization’s brand image in every customer interaction.
• Trains and re-trains agents and FSS.
• Ensure compliance with internal rules, of partner contracts and of regulator expectations.
• Promote positive change and effectively manage the change implications associated with implementation of initiatives.
• Effectively manage relationships with key services providers (internal and external).
• Actively build network, learn and understand more about the business and its customers whilst also providing on-going feedback to key    stakeholders.

Unit Head, Business Support and Customer Service

Reporting to the Head, Network Operations, the successful candidate will have primary responsibility for ensuring the provision of world class service to agents, bank and MMO/Telco partners and onward to end-users. This role encompasses oversight of outsourced relationships to ensure IFIS system gets the best hosting, service management, service improvement and infrastructure development attention. The role will also provide supervision for call centres. Key responsibilities will be to:• Ensure that the IFIS operation provides world leading service delivery to its agents, bank and MMO/Telco partners and onward to end    users.
• Ensure agents are well equipped once on-boarded and that the necessary marketing collaterals are provided.
• Design, implement and meet best practice customer feel-good performance measures and ensure there are robust systems in place to    track and report on these.
• Promote positive change and effectively manage the change implications associated with implementation of initiatives.
• Understands key business functions within Call Centre and communicates to the rest of the business.
• Design, implement and meet best practice customer feel-good performance measures and ensure there are robust systems in place to    track and report on these.
• Track Call centre service performance via mystery shopping, complaint and call record machine
• Actively build relationships, learn and understand more about the business, its customers, with the view of providing ongoing feedback    to key stakeholders.
• Monitor liquidity metrics (limits set by the regulators or limits/guidelines set internally) for agents, super-agents and partner chains the    Organization services.
• Develop a rapport with super-agent cluster owners.

• Good understanding of CBN requirements for agent operations.

Unit Head, Insights and Growth

Reporting to the Head, Network Operations, the successful candidate will drive business growth and expansion by the acquisition of new customers and retention of existing customers for the business’ products and services. This will include applying research and data in generating intelligence and insights to drive business growth. Key responsibilities will be to:• Develop the company’s sales, account management and business development strategy and ensure alignment with corporate strategy    and business goals.
• Provide guidance, support and direction to the team in carrying out their functions.
• Identify strategies, objectives and action plans to improve short and long term sales earnings.
• Communicate sales strategy, direction and objectives to team members.
• Identify opportunities for business from new and existing customers.
• Make use of insights from market research to inform strategy and direction and also strengthen decision making process.
• Lead efforts to identify new needs that can be developed into new products or services and facilitate the development of new solution    offerings.
• Analyze sales performance results and develop initiatives to bridge any possible gaps.
• Identify strategies, objectives and action plans to improve short and long term sales earnings.
• Learn what the competition is doing in terms of positioning, customer experience, pricing, their alliances and credibility.

• A good first degree or its equivalent in the Social Sciences or Sciences from a reputable Institution. Possession of an MBA will be an    advantage.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven knowledge in competitor analysis and market research.
• Good knowledge of account management and sales and business development
• Good understanding of management, operational and supporting processes.
