Job Title: Operations and Maintenance Field Technician, Air Condition
Location: Lagos
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the completion of service requests (preventive or corrective) on all cooling systems or other assets assigned to according to scope of work, typical as following but not limited to:

  • Air conditioners, compressors, capacitors, temperature switches, etc. or any other environmental system installed.
  • Installation, decommission, trouble shooting, filling of gases, changing of compressors or
  • other spares etc.
  • Ensuring that preventive or corrective maintenance is performed according to procedures and checklists agreed and all issues are permanently closed
  • Proper cleaning and janitorial services of the sites and assets
  • Ensures proper care of all company properties such as tools & equipment, vehicle, Mobile DG,accommodation.
  • Reports all theft and litigation issues as per process and supports the O&M Coordinator, Site Security (where applicable).
  • Be responsible for fuel delivery and consumption and supports the MS Coordinator, Fuel for fuel management (where applicable).
  • Ensures that all works being executed under his/her supervision conforms with the Client’s specifications and the approved drawings.
  • Coordinates efforts with all sections of the company (Procurement & Logistics, Projects, HR andAccounts) as per company internal procedures.
  • Decommissioning, installation and troubleshooting any fault in electrical equipment.
  • Any other work assigned to from time to time according to the scope of work.
  • Schedules and executes the preventive / routine maintenance jobs on all equipment under his assignment.
  • Attends emergency call outs, fixes the problem on equipment and restores the service within SLA, follows up the issues till permanent closure and helps to find root cause of problems and appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinates between NOC, immediate supervisor, client and other subcontractors, for proper maintenance of own sites.
  • Be available for emergency service delivery, through SMS / phone calls or other communication means.
  • Proficiently uses test equipment and devices on sites and analyzes test results.
  • Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences regularly to the O&M Coordinator using company’s reporting formats.
  • Ensures that all tools and equipments are in accordance with the engineering standards and specifications.
  • Ensures that all spares or consumables used during maintenance are of good quality and standard.
  • Understands all processes, works accordingly and gives feedback for improvement.
  • Keeps record of inventory, problem history for all equipment under his control.
  • Be a team leader, coach and enable other team members, check standard of work executed and be responsible for scope of whole team work.

OH&S/QMS Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the implementation of OH&S/QMS requirements on all assigned cell sites.
  • Fills all related OH&S/QMS documents on sites.
  • Conducts Site Safety Induction by explaining to Subcontractors their responsibilities in terms of OH&S
  • requirements of the company and Clients.
  • Ensures that adequate PPE is used by both the company and subcontractors’ teams.
  • Ensures that safe work procedures are being adhered to.
  • Investigates and fills the incident investigation report and shares it with the OH&S representative.
  • Ensures emergency drills are conducted on sites.
  • Deals directly with the client’s representative on all OH&S matters on sites.
  • Reports on any hazard, incident, and accident to the direct supervisor of all assigned sites.

Requirements

  • More than 1 year experience in similar field
  • Must be a team player, flexible, defendable and punctual
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • HND ( Higher National Diploma)
  • Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Location: Lagos
Role and Responsibilities

  • Manages overall the preventive and corrective maintenance of network elements in his domain.
  • Plans preventive and corrective maintenance according to network elements and contract requirement and contract, implements, monitors, controls and follows-up with issues found till closure.
  • Communicates & explains plan to related teams or persons & dispatches teams according to the schedule.
  • Makes sure of execution of tasks according to schedule, update schedule in case of any deviation.
  • Collects preventive data from field, makes sure field technicians perform jobs according to agreed procedure and intimate supervisor for any issue.
  • Ability to analyze Preventative Maintenance data and update program based on this data.
  • Creates reports based on data received from field as per guideline & recommends action plans.
  • Ability to analyze equipment manuals and translate that data into meaningful Preventative Maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to train all preventative maintenance personnel in their job duties.
  • Supervises all works related to his/her assigned project(s) and ensures that they are executed in accordance with client’s requirement and contract.
  • Validates report from field e.g visit regular cell sites to ensure that field technicians are executing their assigned work according to quality and standard
  • Maintain inventory of network, updates in case of any change.
  • Analyzes resource requirement and gives recommendations to the O&M Manager accordingly. Resource includes but not limited to human, tools, equipment and transportation
  • Responds on timely basis to all communications within and outside the organization.
  • Responsible for the acceptance of new sites, assigning to teams & informing to all relevant people.
  • Ensures proper communication with the client and within organization in forms of mails, meetings, calls, reports, etc
  • Demostrates the ability to think critically and proactively, anticipates risks and prepares solutions in advance
  • Reports and investigates any incident (Fuel theft, etc) according to process.
  • Supports the O&M Manager in reconciliation of data, controlling cost and receiving payments from client
  • Ensures all documentation and reports are created and shared within the organization and client on time.
  • Coordinates within the organization and with client at all level for performing his/her duties.
  • Coaches and develops teams assigned to him/her.

  • Ensures that adequate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is used by both the organization’s teams and Subcontractors.
  • Inspects all PPE prior to its use.
  • Ensures a proper usage of PPE.
  • Requests for the replacement of PPE’s when required.
  • Investigates accidents, incidents, and hazards and implements the necessary corrective and preventive actions to mitigate incidents, accidents and hazards.
  • Ensures that all placards are clear, clean and well maintained.
  • Provides training to enhance the OHSAS knowledge and competence.
  • Conducts emergency preparedness drills on a regular basis.
  • Ensures visitors receive a proper security and context briefing and monitor the security adherance

Job Title: Operations & Maintenance Supervisor, NOC
Location:
 Lagos
Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensures that escalations are closed within client’s specifications or SLA.
  • Creates network performance reports and analysis e.g daily, weekly, monthly and share with client or internally.
  • Follows up on emergencies on the network and escalates them based on site importance (e.g. hub sites, backbones and collocated sites etc) as per escalation matrix, until resolution.
  • Responsible for reporting emergencies and incidents of violation of SLAs and supports the O&M Manager in communication with client.
  • Responsible for client’s communication e.g. alarms pending for a specific hours, false alarms etc.
  • Provides leadership, technical expertise and management of the NOC operation and staff.
  • Schedules duties hours and timetable of his staff, to have 24/7 network surveillance, as per contract.
  • Ensures that all alarms are attended and followed up, in a timely manner and according to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Ensures that every reasonably effort is made to restore service in an event of an outage within SLA time frame.
  • Prepares SLA reports by giving feedbacks on outage, root cause and supports the O&M Manager for communication with the client e.g. SLA violation, penalties etc. 13. Manages and controls NOC staff for their performance monitoring and career development.
  • Suggests improvements areas based on that report and shares with the O&M Manager and the O&M Supervisors.
  • Analyzes team & regional performance based on emergencies and reports to the O&M Supervisors and the O&M Manager.
  • Coordinates with the client’s representatives and other sections and proposes changes in procedures, as required, to accomplish tasks in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Evaluates existing processes, systems, and potential improvements complying with maintenance requirements and personnel safety.
  • Ensures assigned employees receive required training and possess/maintain appropriate qualifications, certifications, and licenses.
  • Communicates about networking issues effectively and in comprehensible manner both to clients and employees.

OH&S / QMS Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all OH&S/QMS procedures are daily monitored and followed.

  • Collects preventive data from field, makes sure field technicians perform jobs according to agreed procedure and intimate supervisor for any issue. Issues daily, weekly and monthly PM reports to all stake holders withing and client.
  • Ability to analyze Preventative Maintenance data and update program based on this data.
