Job Descriptions

  • Coordinate all sales and distribution activities and other incidental responsibilities of stock control, security and cost within all region across the country.
  • Prepare sales plan and targets (daily, weekly and monthly)for each and every member of the team by route, channels and by brand
  • Review sales with team members, line manager and customers on daily, weekly, monthly ,quarterly bases as the case may be
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve efficiency and maintain discipline within the sales force
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by counselling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Regular and accurate reports rendition.
  • Market intelligence (monitor competitive activities and give feedback)
  • Responsible for managing the stock level by brands, by location according to the minimum and maximum agreed levels, at all times, in order to minimize OOS
  • Conduct appraisals for direct reports; recommend staff for promotions and non performers for sanctions to the Group HR.
  • Responsible for ensuring regular and appropriate maintenance of all assets (bikes, vans, cars, etc).
  • Liaise with Regional Logistics Officer to ensure regular maintenance and functionality of assets to avoid stoppage of sales operations.
  • Monitor the expenses versus budget and control the expense accounts of the area with the group accountant

Requirements

  • Candidate must be from renown fmcg that deals with imported wines and spirit strictly
  • With minimum of 10 years experience from an alcoholic brand.
  • Must have leadership skills and people management
