Job Title: Client Relationship Officer

Ref No: CRO1-15
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; working with team.

  • Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans and implementing them to achieve and exceed expected performance targets.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
  • Sustains rapport with key accounts and clients by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities under his/her purview.
  • Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
  • Develop sales strategy
  • Create marketing presentations
  • Liaise with media and advertising
  • Collaborate with the sales function
  • Monitor industry best practices
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Expand and develop marketing platforms.
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
  • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget.

Education and Experience

  • Engineering, Science, Business or Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in customer and market research.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge.
  • Experience with relevant software applications
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies.
  • Technical marketing skills
