Graduate Internship Opportunities at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi was established by Anambra State of Nigeria (ASN) Edict No 10 of 1988 as Anambra State University of Technology Teaching Hospital Nnewi, and shared premises with the then General Hospital, Nnewi.

The General Hospital was officially handed over to the Teaching Hospital Management Board on the 16th June, 1990. Following the handover, a number of essential hospital equipments were either refurbished or renovated.

Job Title: Intern Pharmacist

Job Description

  • Selected candidates are expected to undergo a twelve month unbroken pre-registration internship in the pharmacy department of the hospital

Qualifications 

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy plus provisional registration of the pharmacist council of Nigeria

Job Title: Intern Physiotherapist
Location:
 Anambra
Job Description 

  • Twelve months unbroken pre-registration internship in the physiotherapy department of the hospital

Qualifications 

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university plus the provisional registration of the medical rehabilitation therapists board of Nigeria.

Job Title: Intern Radiographer

Job Description 

  • Twelve months unbroken internship programme in the radiology department of the hospital

Qualifications 

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in radiography from a recognized university plus the provisional reistration of the radiographers registration board of Nigeria (RRBN)

Job Title: Intern Medical Laboratory Scientist

Qualifications 

  • Candidates must possess BMLS degree from a recognized university plus the provisional registration of the medical laboratory science council of Nigeria

Job Title: House Officer
Location:
 Anambra
Job Description 

  • Selected candidates are expected to undergo a twelve month unbroken pre-registration rotation through the clinical department of surgery, medicine, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology, of the hospital.

Qualifications 

  • Candidates must possess MBBS degree from a recognized university plus provisional registration of the medical and dental council of Nigeria.
