Job Title: Verification Officer
Key Responsibilities

  • Verify accuracy of records in accordance to regulatory and internal requirements
  • Planning, assigning and review of all verification operations
  • Managing the cost of executing verification campaigns
  • Proffer improvement initiatives in verification campaign deployment
  • Ensuring that verification process is in accordance with clients’ criteria and timeline
  • Liaise with Finance on verification field agents’/Service Providers‘ payment
  • Liaise with Finance on Invoicing of Clients
  • Such other job as the Company may from time to time require to be carried out by you
  • Proper documentation of Verification projects for easy auditing
  • Manage operational relationship with Verification field agents and service providers
  • Manage/create Operational Relationship with Verification Authorities
  • Manage Commercial Relationship with field agents
  • Maintain integrity of verification process and results


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must possess a minimum of a Second Class Upper in any discipline from a reputable university
  • Locate, gather, and organize information using appropriate technology and information systems
  • Good knowledge of the Nigerian tertiary educational system, relationship with key individuals would be an added advantage
  • Applicant should not be more than 25 years of age
  • Minimum of 1 year in a role which requires handling data
  • Proficient use of Intermediate Excel and MS Office suite use

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Data Warehousing
  • Good people skills
  • Keen attention to details
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as in a group
  • Proven ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Self -motivated and confident in making sound business decisions
  • Work to agreed-upon quality standards and specifications
  • Strong Communication skills in both written and verbal
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good persuasive skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines
