Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB) – Our client, OkadaBooks is looking for talented Web developers to join our growing Engineering team as a freelancer/contractor on a per­ project basis.

As a member of the team you will be responsible for the full development life cycle of your features from initial specification through deployment to production.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Web Developer (Contract/Freelance) (Okadabooks)
Location:
 Lagos, Nigeria
Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience developing web applications
  • In­depth knowledge of the following web development technologies
  •  HTML, Javascript, CSS
  • PHP
  • MySQL

Basic knowledge of the following:

  • Yii Framework
  • Git version control system
  • Strong testing aptitude with the ability to write testable code and develop Unit and Integration tests

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of Object Oriented Design principles and patterns
  • Experience with performance analysis and tuning of web­-based applications
  • Experience with Analytics Platforms e.g. Google Analytics
  • Knowledgeable about Search Engine Optimizations (SEO)
