Job Title: Inventory and Procurement Manager

Level: Deputy Manager – Manager
Reporting to: Finance & Admin Director

Job Summary

  • An executive to middle management position responsible for overseeing the procurement and stock management operations of the company.

Role

  • Provide supplies by identifying needs for various units in the company
  • Develop policies, procedures, and work schedules.
  • Provide archival reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
  • Oversee the preparation, analysis, negotiation and review of contracts related to the purchase or sale of equipment, materials, supplies, products, or services
  • Handle the acquisition, distribution and storage of equipment and supplies
  • Advise management on the disposal of company property following due process
  • Prepare annual budget and periodic reports on operating cost for office supplies
  • Maintain, monitor and regularly update an inventory of all equipment and assets.

Requirements
Candidate:

  • Must have ability to work effectively in a team and motivate other team members
  • Ability to cope with conflicting work pressures and assist others to cope with conflicting work pressures
  • Must have leadership quality, good organisational skills and must be capable of taking decisions
  • Must have the ability to work within deadlines and achieve set targets
  • Must be pro-active, self-motivated and determined
  • Educated to HND / Degree level with minimum of lower credit or second class lower.
